WHAT DO I PREPARE?
Please prepare a 1-2 minute contemporary comedic monologue OR a contemporary comedic duo scene. Scene partners will NOT be provided. These should be memorized to allow for motivated movement, blocking, and nuanced choices.
Sign ups are on Ms. DeLapp’s door. It is also suggested you arrive 10 mins prior to your audition time and dress professionally.
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This play requires actors to be sharp and quick comedians. We are looking for dynamic use of voice and actors that are confident with uninhibited movement. This is a melodramatic fast paced farce that calls for truthful but specific and exaggerated choices.

(sign up for ONE block only)
Tuesday: Dance Audition 3:45 - 6pm
(EVERYONE will be called in groups of 5 alphabetically)
Wednesday: Singing Auditions
Thursday: Singing Auditions
(sign up for a 1 hour group audition block online)
Friday: Call Backs
(List will be posted Thursday evening with sides/sheet music. Actors print their own sides/sheet music)
Cast List Goes Up by Monday 8am.

You will need to prepare a 32 bar/1 min song from Golden Age musical theatre canon and bring a signed Actor Contract and FOUR Audition Forms to your dance audition. Please see below for the “Actor Contract” and "Audition Form".
It is also suggested you arrive 10 mins prior to your audition time.
Please bring appropriate dance attire and shoes to the dance call and dress professionally for your singing audition.
