(Not yet offered) Drama IV - Performance Workshop
Prerequisite: 2-3 Theatre department courses OR participation in 3 after school productions
This is an advanced theatre class. The goal of this course is to prepare you for collegiate conservatory programs and success in the professional acting world. You will be responsible for assembling a “Rep” Book of audition songs and monologues. In addition to that you will learn about “the Biz” of Acting and the essentials of your professional toolkit: headshots, resume, learning how to market yourself for auditions and gaining representation. This is also an open workshop class to refine and practice your skills as a performer for collegiate auditions. You must be self-motivated and open to constructive criticism. Participation, passion, and outside preparation are required for this course.
