Edward Hightower has been teaching theatre in a variety of venues since 2003, and is thrilled to begin his first year as a Dublin High School educator: teaching Drama 1 & 2, Advisor to the Drama Club -- and Theatre Director. After earning his BFA in Theatre from The Boston Conservatory (2000), Edward used the skills powerboost of that training to continue his acting and directing career on stage and film here in the Western United States. At the same time, his innate desire to help others led Edward to begin teaching in private theatre academies, later joining Solano College Theatre as Adjunct Faculty and frequent Guest Artist, earning regional theatre awards for his work. An avid outdoorsman, Edward prefers to be on long-haul backpacking adventures at any given time. When he isn't teaching, Edward is focused on the most important path (and his best role to date), fatherhood.
